This is where it all began. Men and women who spent their lives working and caring for others come to us after abandonment, after abuse, or simply because there is no one left.
Here they receive what every person deserves at the end of life: a safe roof, a warm meal, care for their health and, above all, company. No one here goes through the day without someone asking how they are.
We welcome older adults from Ciudad Juárez and from all over Mexico, and even residents of the United States who were left in Mexico by their own children.
Their life still matters. Our job is to make sure they never forget it.
