This website is operated by Sharing With The Poorest, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In this policy, "we" and "us" refer to the organization.

When you use our contact form we receive your name, email address, optional phone number, subject and message. When you subscribe to updates we receive your email address, optional first name, preferred language and your consent to receive emails.

If you give online, your payment is handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of your gift (such as your name, email, amount and transaction reference) but never your full card number or security code.

To answer your message, to send the updates you requested, to acknowledge and record your gifts, and to keep the records that nonprofit organizations are required to keep.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

The website remembers your language and light/dark display preference in your browser's local storage. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are visited and when someone clicks to donate or contact us, so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. It does not receive the content of the forms you send us, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on systems with restricted access. Access by our staff is limited to what each role needs and is recorded.

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, except records we must keep by law, by contacting us.

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. We never publish information about the children we serve without the consent of their legal guardian.
